Sarah and Joe are a rad couple who I’m happy to know! We met up in the Industrial area of N. Portland and had a lot of fun among the trees and brick buildings along N. Mississippi ave. Kirstie Wight Makeup created Sarah’s beautiful and natural look for the photos. Their Gorge Crest vineyard wedding this Aug. will be a blast. Can’t wait! (and yes, it’s true that Joe did flips!)
Rachel and Michael and I met up in Seattle, their hometown, for a photo adventure engagement shoot. We started at the Voxx coffee shop where this stunning couple had their first date. We wondered through some of their favorite parks, including the beautiful Volunteer Park, and even had a chance to get their cute kitty in some pics. I’m so excited to be documenting their wedding at the Roche Harbor Resort on San Juan Island this August.

Mailee and Robin and I met up in Seattle recently for their incredible engagement session that was themed around how they met. 🙂 You can hopefully see the story through the pictures of their meeting on The University of Washington campus in lecture hall and studing together at the Grad Library. On their first date, Robin planned a surprise dinner at Cantinetta, an incredible restaurant in the Wallingford area after a foiled plan for cuban sandwiches at Paseo’s. After a sharing laughs, wine and an unforgettable meal, M&R realized they were soul mates! We had a fun day of shooting around some great spots including Gas Works Park and the Fremont area. I’m so honored and excited to document their first steps together as husband and wife at the Portland Art Museum in 2013!
Allison and Jeremy are fun, beautiful and kind, and a perfect pair! They are high-school sweethearts and I am so excited for their late July wedding. This couple and their cute pup Buoy and I, along with my incredible assistant Lindsay, all met up in NW Portland for a photo adventure into Forest Park. It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun. When Katie and Chris walk into a room, the energy lights up, people smile and eyes sparkle! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Kate for about 5 years and when she met her soul mate, Chris, I have been happy to know him as a friend as well! Kate is a phenomenal wedding photographer and she owns Kate Kelly Photography. We had an adventurous day of shooting around Portland for their day-after session. Since K&C had a destination wedding, we thought it would be fun to have some bridal portraits around Portland, their hometown. Kirstie Wight makeup did Kate’s hair and makeup and styling and I love the fresh vintage feel this gorgeous couple embody. We finished off the shoot at Lincoln Restaurant with incredible food created with love by Jenn Louis.
