What an incredible year! 2014 was filled with momentous weddings, kind and beautiful couples, whimsical memories and the best day of my life, my own wedding! From the top of Mt. Hood to the vineyards of wine country, this past year has been filled with some of my favorite couples and memories. I’ll be honest that I wasn’t the best at blogging this past year, so a few of these images might be new to you, and their full posts will be coming this winter! Nicole and Matt had a destination wedding in this sweet city of roses all the way from New York. With incredible coordination & blooms from Creations by Ly, an unforgettably intimate ceremony at The Madeleine Church and a delicious three course dinner and a night of fun dancing at Coopers Hall, this was a destination wedding to remember. Nicole and Matt are fun loving, smart and witty and have such a great energy to them It was such a pleasure to document their wedding!

Laurie and Brett are a super kind, gorgeous, fun-loving couple and we lucked out with one of the last nice days of the year! We met in the Pearl and walked around the ever-changing neighborhood to find some nooks and crannies and we found a sky! Not just any sky either, the clouds were amazing and the blue was perfect. So thrilled to be documenting Laurie and Brett’s wedding in Bend this Summer!

A West Linn Oregon Wedding

Whitney and John’s wedding was truly one for the history books. Whitney and John are one of those happy and laid-back couples that makes everyone they are around feel joy, and that’s exactly how to describe their wedding, joyous! Taking place on Whitney’s beautiful family farm in West Linn, it was pretty amazing that Whitney and John made history by being the first to host an innovative & elegant legal weed bar, complete with budtender. After going viral on USA Today, Huffington Post and so many more, this couple, along with the great help of Elizabeth Corr & the Bridal Bliss team have created a fun wedding trend that’s here to stay. With a heartfelt ceremony, stunning rustic flowers from Zest, and a forest filled with lights and live band, Pressure Point, the entire day, and well into the night, Whitney and John’s wedding was truly unforgettable.

An Alloro Oregon VIneyard Engagement

Libby and Chris and I met up over the summer for their gorgeous vineyard engagement shoot at Alloro Vineyards. Libby and Chris are two of the sweetest people, and they make a beautiful couple. Alloro is one of my favorite vineyards, not only is the wine incredible, but the views transport you to Napa, Italy or Spain with the vistas and the Italian Cypress trees. I’m very excited to be documenting Libby and Chris’s wedding this upcoming August!

A Lake Oswego Wedding

Aidan and Jessica are truly a match made in the skies. Having proposed in a hot air balloon, this couple loves adventure, travel and embracing life together. To hear a list of their many journeys, it almost sounds like a choose your own adventure novel! Africa, Germany, South America, Myanmar, Indonesia, and beyond. It was such a great time hearing some of their stories, meeting their families and friends from around the world and getting to know this wonderful couple at their July 25 wedding at Lake Oswego’s Foundry. With coordination from Elizabeth at Bridal Bliss and flowers from Jordan at Blum, this was a perfect love story. Complete with a light rain shower during their ceremony on the river, a truly unforgettable moment. Congrats Jess and Aidan and thank you for choosing me to document this great adventure for you both!
