Sarah and Jerome and I have been through a total of three amazing weddings together! Mona and Jeff's wedding, John and Jen's wedding, and finally their own incredible wedding! It was such an honor to be photographing their intimate wedding along with their family and friends at the beautiful Arista Ballroom in SE Portland! The day was a bit rainy, but we managed to duck outside for a couple of great portraits. Sarah looked beautiful in her simple and elegant lace gown, and make-up by the wonderful Nicole Wagner, who I recommend highly! The flowers looked incredible and were by Ink & Peat. The ceremony was short and sweet and the party was really fun and filled with great music! Seriously great music included Nouvelle Vague, Siouxsie and the Banshees and M.I.A. Dance Party! Thanks to the talented and fun Chris Jernigan for helping rock out the pics as well! Sarah and Jerome, thanks SO much for choosing me to be a part of your incredibly sweet and fun wedding! Enjoy the preview:)

Michelle and Alex have been married for over two years and inquired about an "engagement shoot for married couples" last fall. I love the idea of getting great photos taken of you and your honey long after you've said your I Do's. It's a great time to get
photos of you and your spouse for your living room, your family or even your facebook page! It was so great bonding with Alex and Michelle over our hometown of Ann Arbor Michigan! Go Blue! Alex and Michelle practice Kung Fu and ended the session with some beautiful forms. Michelle also manages Oblation, the amazing invite shop and paper boutique in the Pearl, which I highly recommend for save the dates or wedding invites! I also want to thank Chris Jernigan for assisting me! Hope you love the sneak peek Alex and Michelle!
Jessica, these are awesome! and Michelle and Alex were so great to work with! It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon shooting with them! (and you!) :)

I love these photos Jessica! And I agree - why shouldn't we be photographed after we're married? Keep up the good work!
(03.27.09)Great shots, Jessica. We loved working with you -- you are great. And yes, I definitely recommend that married people get photos taken a few (or many) years in. Alex and I had so much fun and talked about our shoot for days afterwards. (The crazy guy, the mud, the cold, the kissing in public:) I can't wait to see all the rest!
(03.29.09)

Of course I am not at all surprised that these are beautiful! Jessica, you've done it again - captured the sweet little moments that added up to such a magical day. The bride is as lovely and the groom as handsome as they are in person, but even more than that, both of their unique and wonderful personalities shines through as well. Can't wait to see the rest!
