Their engagement day started out rainy, but luckily the Allison had a ton of incredible indoor spots for photos, like the beautiful pool and perfect spiral staircase. Kelsey and Josh actually dated in high school and went to prom together! After reuniting a few years later, the love was true and obvious (and the glitter, Boyz II Men and prom dress sleeves were no longer in the way!) and they will be saying their I Do’s at the Left Bank Annex this September. I’m so excited for their wedding day, it’s going to be a blast!

The vintage wallpaper in Cat and Sam’s apartment is simply wonderful, but not as great as this beautiful, kind and creative couple. Cat and Sam live in Ann Arbor, they met in DC and they are getting married in Oregon this summer. I Cat when she was the maid of honor at Callie and Andy’s unforgettable wedding. This photo shoot was especially inspiring for me because I lived in Ann Arbor for over 6 years and that’s where I started my career in wedding photography while earning my BFA in Photography from the University of Michigan. Cat and Sam are both graduate students at UofM and it was so fun to hear and see how things are the same, yet so different. We discovered hidden ivy walls, rode bikes and had too much fun at at a bar called bar. Needless to say, I cant wait for their wedding.

I absolutely loved working with this incredible family made up of Eric, Autumn, Jackson and their adorable labradoodle Maggie. We almost cancelled the shoot, as it was raining buckets about an hour before our scheduled shoot. Luckily, the rain passed, the sun came out and Sauvie Island provided some great landscapes. They are expecting an addition soon and I love how sweet Jackson is as a big brother! Congrats Farrara Family!

Cara and Steven share laughs, love and kindness and live in the darling St. John’s neighborhood. We started our engagement session at Cathedral Park, at the base of the St. John’s bridge and ended up at the waterfront with the stunning cherry blossoms. We had a blast in some of Portland’s not to be missed spots, and I can’t wait for their wedding next month at Hotel Deluxe!

It’s a fun and interactive show that allows the guests a peek inside several different rooms, each having a different theme, look, and color palette. For this year’s show, I was in the stunning Grand Ballroom for the “Timeless Romance” theme. I loved the golden hues and textures with lots of candle light, designed by Rachelle at Champagne Events, along with Anna Mara Flowers. The rest of the room was comprised of Ecru Stationary, West Coast Event Productions, Peekaboo Portland, Devil’s Food Catering, and the gorgeous cakes were created by La Jaconde. A beautiful event!
