Welcome Baby Ceci
A Portland Baby Photo Session at Home

Mia and Chris and I met at a wine-tasting event WAY back in the day right around the time when Chris proposed! We photographed their apple-orchard inspired engagement session back in 2012 and had a blast together. Since then so much has happened, marriage, houses, careers (Mia is the manager at the Pearl Anthropologie!) and Mia and Chris welcomed their sweet baby girl Ceci into this wonderful world! Was so honored to photograph their sweet family along with their pups at their stylish home in NE Portland. I especially loved the Jonathan Adler couch! (Yes please) and Ceci’s hip and bright nursery. Their older pup passed very soon after these photos were taken so I’m very humbled to have photographed that sweet pup. So much love for this kind, stylish and creative family!

Ande and Michael
A Downtown Sentinel Hotel

Elegant, Timeless, Classic and Fun!!! Loved getting to know this couple and the fun adventure we had during their fun engagement session. The lovely Elizabeth with Bridal Bliss coordinated and Blum Florals created the AMAZING florals with gorgeous and unique details (loved the blueberry gold dish centerpieces and the hand-painted masterpiece cake by Dreamcakes) and a fun party. The sweet ceremony took place at the historic First Presbyterian Church in downtown Portland where you could actually feel the love within the rafters! The classic and beyond stunning Governor Ballroom at the Sentinel Hotel was breathtaking. As Michael twirled Ande into the night, the incredible band Precious Byrd played on and kept the party going. As you can tell this was an evening to remember and we made some magic art. Loved this day and thank you Ande and Michael for trusting me with documenting your true love story! What a night!

The Roelke Family
A Sauvie Island Family Session

The Roelke and Coddington families all met up at the beautiful Kruger’s farm on Sauvies Island for their family photos! Rachel is a hilarious and wonderful woman, friend, mama and incredible wedding and conference coordinator and I was honored to document her rad family. The grandparents and aunt and uncle joined in the fun while we hung around the farm too! While photographing beneath the gorgeous oak tree there, a miniature horse was walking by with it’s owner and I jumped at the opportunity to photograph little man Everett with the horses. SO COOL. Needless to say I had a blast with this fun, stylish and smart family and I love that they created some awesome custom canvases for their home! Have you heard the news about the fall mini-sessions? Amanda and Lane
The Vintages Trailer Resort Engagement

Gosh- what can I even say about these two magical people!? Amanda and Lane and I all met up at The Vintages, a very hip vintage RV resort in wine country for a fun afternoon spent biking, making 1927 S’mores and dancing in meadows. After meeting Amanda at a backyard party after both photographing weddings, we instantly bonded and started working together. Amanda and Lane met and fell in love on a weekend holiday at The Vintages early in their relationship, so it made the engagement session extra special. (awe!) Many of you may recognize her as our talented studio manager & photographer at our awesome sister studio; A Lovely Day Photography! Their fun love and witty jokes had the Glitch Video team and I laughing all the way. (Click here to see their cool engagement video!) Their wedding this month at Union Pine going to be incredible and I can’t wait to document their wedding story!!!

McKenzie and Rahul
A Gerding Theatre Armory Wedding

McKenzie and Rahul threw an absolutely incredible wedding for their family and friends! I loved working with this kind and wonderful couple for their 2017 summer wedding at the Armory Gerding Theatre. The style, the food, the music, the dancing, oh so much fun! Will with Don’t Mess with the Bride did the coordination and Marianne with Petal Passion made the gorgeous bouquets. The food from Swagat was all delicious and incorporated Rahul’s Indian Heritage. Loved Rahul’s classic blue tux with the black lapels and McKenzie’s hair and makeup from Marissa Freeman was spot on perfect. The vows were extremely touching and I personally loved that they literally danced down the aisle together! Congrats McKenzie and Rahul and I’m so happy that you found each other!

Paige and Tom
An Eastside Exchange Ballroom and Rooftop Wedding

I met Paige and Tom last winter around a campfire in Sunriver, Oregon at Kellen and Ty’s gorgeous wedding and instantly knew they were lots of fun! Paige and Tom are a witty and stylish couple who met overseas and continued a relationship over years, oceans and many phone calls and decided on a simple yet elegant wedding this past spring at the stunning Exchange Ballroom. The couple had a intimate and private ceremony with only a few friends earlier that day at the courthouse. I love that they decided on a non-traditional approach to their wedding and hosted their family and friends for a wonderful dinner party and rooftop fun to celebrate their marriage! Their raw bar was one of the best I’ve seen (yes please!) and Vibrant Table really delivers on the delicious and beautiful food! Sammy’s Floral created the pretty flowers and Paige’s sweet slip dress was from Nordstrom. They included a ton of fun games including vintage arcade, darts and pool for guests to enjoy as well as a gorgeous sitting area for mingling. Needless to say, this couple brought lots of thought and love to their fun and beautiful wedding reception to the Eastside Exchange and I had a blast photographing it!

Margaret and Noah and Family
A Tualatin River Engagement

Margaret and Noah have the kind of love that moves mountains and makes you dance under the moon. Margaret is a friend, a fellow (amazing) photographer, and a talented writer bringing attention to things that need to be talked about like mental health, gender and marriage. Noah is an activist and conservationist who adds spark to any room with his wit and humor. I met up recently with Margaret and Noah and Margaret’s two incredible kiddos, Beck and Riley and we photographed at their charming home in the woods on the converge of the Tualatin and Willamette rivers. Needless to say this gorgeous couple and their family was a joy to document and spend time with. We skipped stones and danced under the purple moon and made magic. We also photographed some fun 70’s inspired couple’s glam boudoir pics that you can find over at my Peekaboo boudoir blog. Excited for this intelligent, artistic, kind-hearted couple and their at-home wedding this September.

A Pearl District Engagement

Tatiana and Trevor and I all met up at their iconic first date location, Bridgeport Brewery for some candid and fun photos. We then walked around the Portland’s Pearl district with their darling pup Filet. (how photogenic is that cutie!?) We took a walk down memory lane for this gorgeous and kind-hearted couple as Tatiana used to live in the Pearl so many of their early memories took place there. We also explored Forest Park for some nature-inspired photos! This first image on the patio, one of my faves from the shoot, was taken in the exact spot they met for the first time so needless to say… all the feels! Carly with Kiss and Makeup Artistry did Tatiana’s oh-so-pretty makeup and hair. So excited for their wedding with the talented Kelsey of Vanity Affair Events coming up this September in wine country!

A Portland Center Stage at the Armory Wedding

Imagine soft piano music playing beneath twinkly lights, fresh greenery and white flowers in abundance from Liz Rusnac all among some of the coolest architecture you’ve ever seen at the Armory Portland Center Stage. In walk the newlyweds Kelsey and Drew looking timelessly elegant and delightfully happy in a gorgeous modern wedding dress from The White Dress and classic black Tux custom made from Wildwood & Company . Complete with a caricature artist creating personal sketches of the guests to take home, to a posh wedding cigar bar and dreamiest cake from Dream Cakes, the amazing Catherine with Bridal Bliss, made sure this wedding was executed flawlessly! Art of Catering was the award-winning team to cater the event and live band made the dance floor poppin’ all night! This was a classic Portland wedding with an elegant yet relaxed vibe and I’m so honored to have documented this stunner of a wedding day! Thank you Kelsey and Drew!
