A Plaza Del Toro Rehearsal Dinner

Delicious food in a stunning space, flower crowns for all the ladies created by Blum and wine o plenty! Elizabeth and Tim hosted the rehearsal dinner event of the year at Portland’s Plaza Del Toro, a unique event space located in the SE industrial area. Elizabeth and I go waaaayyy back to 2009 when she worked at New and Blue, a wedding boutique in the Pearl. Now, a lead coordinator with the amazing Bridal Bliss team, she’s a dynamic and creative planner, a beautiful and brave woman and a good friend. Tim is an intelligent & great guy, a talented musician and E&T have that kind of love you can actually feel when they look at each other. They light up every room they walk into and are a fun couple; perfect for each other. I’m so honored to have been there to document the moments that made up their gorgeous spring St. Patrick’s wedding weekend, inspired by their Irish heritage. Truly happy for these guys and their adventure together!

St Jack is one of the best French restaurants around and I was honored to photograph their ad campaign for their website and the event season. From their cocktail program, french wines, the amazing steak frites and fresh seafood, St. Jack is simply incredible. Chef Aaron Barnett is a culinary genius and well regarded in the french food world and I loved photographing this incredible space on NW 23rd and their beautifully crafted food.

I was honored to photograph Jennifer and Atom’s wedding and then came a baby! Baby Emma is a little doll and has the cutest cheeks pretty much… ever! I loved photographing this wonderful (and gorgeous!) family throughout Forest Park and Emma ate leaves for lunch. Good Times!

A Downtown Portland Urban Engagement

Hannah and Jacob are just as kindhearted as they are beautiful and I’m so honored to have met them and worked together with them this year. Their engagements took place on a stunning Spring day on the rooftop of their apartment, which is where Jacob proposed to Hannah one fateful evening. We later adventured to Ace Hotel, in which we may or may not, have kicked a kind couple out of a sofa seat in order to get the shot (luckily they were sweethearts and totally understood!) We also hung out with their rad pup and had a lot of fun around downtown Portland.

I was so honored to open the newest issue of Portland Bride and Groom to find Tim and Elizabeth’s engagement session featured in the planning section! The article talks about how to plan for the best engagement experience and they used two photos from E&T’s gorgeous shoot from last autumn photographed on the waterfront and at Coopers Hall! An Urban Studio Pearl Wedding

Des and Kate’s wedding was full of pure joy, lots of happiness, and dinosaurs! Their wedding took place this past spring at the contemporary Urban Studio with Pearl Catering providing the yummy food! I was smiling all day during this wedding as the brides and their family and friends were so fun and laid-back. I loved their mis-matched farm chairs from Something Borrowed and their vintage rustic vibe. With awesome coordination from Natalia at Bridal Bliss, pretty flowers from Blum, tunes from Dowling Productions and a tarot card reader, this event was one for the books. Love wins always!

Autumn, Eric, Jackson and Grey are an awesome family along with their dog Maggie! We met up at their beautiful home in Portland and photographed around their neighborhood. The Farrara family is just as kind as they are beautiful and I’m so honored to have been able to work with them and see them grow through the years. I first photographed their family when they were just expecting their second son! So honored and happy to know this family.

Wow! What a gorgeous family at the beautiful and historic Memorial park in Wilsonville! I met up with Heather, Shane, Layla and Grayson and had a lot of fun playing on the playground, laughing with Layla and Grayson and photographing this great family in the gorgeous autumn weather. I totally joined the kids and went down the slide and climbed on the monkey bars, but it’s all for great photos right!?
