Kristina and Scott along with Kristina’s son Aiden, all met up on an overcast yet calm Sunday morning on the coast, where the family was enjoying a long weekend getaway. This kind couple loves nature, hiking and being outdoors with family. So much so, that they are getting married this month on top of Mt. Hood at Silcox Hut! We explored old growth forests in Ecola State Park and danced on the beach. Kristina braved the chill in a long pretty dress and Aiden did rad ninja kicks for the camera. Thank you Scott and Kristina for choosing me to document these important moments with your family from ocean coast to mountain top!

Jenna and Greg
A Sauvie Island Engagement Session
It was a gorgeous summer’s day as I drove to Jenna and Greg’s family home on Sauvie Island in undeniably great light that only Sauvie Island gets. Jenna and Greg are just as kind and beautiful in person as they look and I literally had moments of the movie, The Notebook in my head as I was photographing this wonderful couple. Jenna and Greg met on the first day of medical school orientation and knew they had met someone special. They truly are soulmates and you can see it in the way they look at each other, interact and laugh. What Jenna says about Greg: “What made me fall in love with Greg first was his true happiness. It is the type of happiness that makes it worth getting up in the morning, no matter how hard the day looks. It is the type of happiness that warms you like a blanket on a cold day.” And Greg of Jenna: “I knew early on that Jenna was everything I could have ever hoped for in this world, the one girl I have been looking for all my life. And even after all this time and all the adventures we faced, I have only come to love Jenna more and more each day, growing not just as an individual, but as a couple of goobers who love each other more than we do ourselves.” WOW! What beautiful words and what a beautiful love! Beyond honored to be photographing their Portland wedding this summer!
Elizabeth and Tim
A Portland Waterfront and Coopers Hall Engagement
Elizabeth and Tim are one of those couples that you meet and think…”I want to be their friend.” They have a natural ease and joy to them that’s magnetic. Lucky for me, I am able to call them friends and I’ve known Elizabeth now for over 6 years. She’s not only a delightful human, but she’s also one of my favorite wedding planners at Bridal Bliss Events. We’re coming full circle, as she helped plan and coordinate my own wedding, and now I have the great honor of documenting hers this coming March. This is one of the many reasons I love the Portland wedding community! Elizabeth and Tim and I all met up this winter for their engagement lifestyle session at the Portland East Bank Esplanade waterfront park and then afterwards for a cheers at Coopers Hall Urban Winery. Love the fun candid moments mixed with artistic intimacy here and I’m so excited to be documenting their first steps together as husband and wife on the exciting adventure of marriage.
Monica and Sara
A Sokol Blosser Engagement
Monica and Sara and I met up on a gorgeous autumn day deep in the heart of Oregon wine country at the stunning and modern Sokol Blosser winery, which is where Sara and Monica were engaged! This has to be one of my all time favorite vineyards in Oregon, with the sweeping views, angular clean construction and delicious award winning wine, it’s a memorable experience for sure. Monica and Sara are a great couple that balance and compliment each other perfectly and we had a blast hiking around the area with their pup and and I’m really looking forward to their wedding in the Columbia River Gorge this Summer.
Molly and Levy
A Portland Waterfront and Pearl Engagement
These two!!! Molly and Levy make an incredible couple and they couldn’t be more kind or beautiful! We met up one rainy-ish autumn afternoon which turned into a gorgeous evening on a rooftop complete with a rainbow encompassing the couple! I loved the versatility of the outfits they brought, along with the different backdrops. Molly and Levy were so up for adventure, including but not limited to climbing up and down slippery rocks (in heels, no less- go Molly!), moving huge recycling bins in an alleyway to get the painted tree backdrop and risking the winds and cold on the Vestas rooftop overlooking the city! Thanks for being so open to crazy ideas guys! I am beyond excited for their summer wedding at the Sentinel. xo
Ashley and Tyler
Oregon Engagement Photos
Ashley and Tyler and I met up right before the rain hit around downtown Portland and the Pearl District. We had some fun wondering in and out of shops and love the backdrops. I’m so excited to be documenting their wedding day this January at the Portland Treasury.
Monica and Ian
A SE Portland Engagement Session
Monica and Ian and I met up last week for their fun quintenessential Portland engagements around SE Portland. Coffee + Park + Beer + Love = Fun. Monica and Ian are getting married this Sunday and had just flown in from their hometown of London, England for the pics. The talented Kirstie Wight created the makeup look and we stopped for coffee at Crema, the couple’s favorite coffee shop and then had a beer at a fun English-inspired pub, the Horse Brass. Can’t wait for this weekend to document this couple’s wedding!
Liz and David
Portland Engagement Photographer
Liz and David are a super cute couple that smile a lot!
Love this pic! The colors, the textures, the light…
The playful balloons and colors make me happy.
The vintage outfits at Union Station make this timeless and classic!
David and Liz are tying the knot in July at the incredible Zenith Vineyards and I’m super excited to be a part of their wedding. We met up recently for this fun shoot in and around Union Station. I love their energy together and loved the outfits they chose. (In love with Liz’s pencil skirt!) They are both engineers and love architecture, so we incorporated a lot into the pics. Hope you love the sneak peek L&D and I can’t wait for your wedding!
Rachel & Anthony
Portland Engagement Photos
Love this photo of R&A with the postcard stand!
We took a a few pics in their amazing waterfront loft, in the Pearl.
One of personal faves from the session!
A super hot couple!
Rachel and Anthony are an awesome couple who are planning a Friday night wedding on the Eco-Trust rooftop. We had a great time during their engagements with all the colors and textures in the Pearl District. The couple has a modern and clean style, so we incorporated a lot of incredible architecture. I’m so excited to photograph their wedding in July! Hope you love the sneak peek R&A!
