Monica and Ian and I met up last week for their fun quintenessential Portland engagements around SE Portland. Coffee + Park + Beer + Love = Fun. Monica and Ian are getting married this Sunday and had just flown in from their hometown of London, England for the pics. The talented Kirstie Wight created the makeup look and we stopped for coffee at Crema, the couple’s favorite coffee shop and then had a beer at a fun English-inspired pub, the Horse Brass. Can’t wait for this weekend to document this couple’s wedding!

Timberline Lodge Weddings

Sara and Will’s amazing wedding took place at the stunning Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. This is one of my favorite places to photograph, I love the architecture, the alpenglow at dusk, the fire, a snow capped mountain top and wildflowers. Love this spot. Sara and Will’s great energy and style made it even better plus s’mores made by the guests!! Sara’s hair and makeup looked soft and beautiful, done by the lovely Kirstie, of Kirstie Wight Makeup. The gorgeous organic wild flower bouquets were created by Lisa with Bloomsberry Floral. Thanks Elijah for second shooting. Congrats to a great couple!

A Portland Elopement

Anna and Mikey’s wedding was so incredible to witness. I always feel blessed when I’m able to be one of five guests at a wedding! We started in Hoyt Arboretum and they said their vows beneath a beautiful tree, sipped champagne in the rain and snacked on cupcakes! From there we went to the former location of the bike shop they originally met at and it ended up being called the “Love Building” 🙂 he he. They brought out their sweet Schwinn tandem bike and it made for some cute pics! They planned for a lovely dinner at the incredible Irving Street Kitchen and it was a perfect day. Kirstie and Jason’s Mid-Century Modern Portland Wedding

Kirstie and Jason’s wedding took place on March 5th, 2011 at 11:30pm in the afternoon. The day was perfect and the the couple couldn’t be happier or more gorgeous! K&J decided to elope with the encouragement and support of their family and friends. The ceremony took place in the couple’s mid-century inspired living room with a cocktail hour at the Gold Dust Meridian, where the couple met, and a brunch at the Screen Door restaurant. Their cute puppy, Baxter, was the proud ring bearer and the couple’s dear friends Erin and Dylan were the witnesses. All in all, an inspiring and fun Portland wedding that I will never forget. Thank you so much to K&J for inviting me into your home to document such intimate moments.
