Will and Sarah’s barn wedding was intimate, fun and beyond memorable. It’s always an honor to receive an inquiry from a fellow photographer, and Will’s work is beautiful. Will and Sarah’s love story has brought them around the globe together to live in California and wed in Oregon, where Sarah is originally from. The family and friends of the couple came together at the Stein Boozier barn in Wilsonville, Oregon and celebrated, toasted and danced the night away. Rachel Coddington’s fresh and fun coordination and florals filled the barn with color along with the incredibly seasonal food from Verde Cocina, and DJ’s from Noteworthy DJ’s the night was one to remember. With a choreographed dance from Will to Sarah, as he’s always hated to dance, and she loves to, so he snuck out to rehearsal for months before the big day and killed it! What a sweet and memorable wedding and I’m happy to have documented all the love! Thanks Sarah and Will!
When Laurie was a little girl, she and her family vacationed at Black Butte Lodge every year. Along with the pool parties, sun burns, horse-back riding and bbq’s there were always the weekend weddings. Every summer Laurie and her sister would beg their parents to let them watch the beautiful bride and the handsome groom. After Laurie and Brett fell in love and when he proposed, Black Butte Lodge was the perfect venue. It was beyond magical to be documenting Laurie and Brett’s dream wedding and to hear stories from their families and friends about their love. The weather, the view, Laurie’s incredible Vera Wang dress, flawless coordination from Bridal Bliss, stunning flowers by Zest, and the music by Flipflop Sounds truly made for an unforgettable day.
I’m not sure if it was playing, but when I look at these I seem to remember “To the Window- To the Wall…” and then I want to dance.
Danielle and Sean are a down to earth and relaxed couple who are fun, witty and charming. Although it was pretty gray and rainy during the morning, they were really calm and just sort of knew that their courtyard ceremony would take place, no sweat. And did it ever! The sky was blue, the clouds were perfect and the colors of Portland’s waterfront and their nautical inspired palette shined on! The blues and whites looked great with the wonderful orange bouquets. The Riverplace Hotel was an incredible venue to host an even more incredible wedding. Thank you so much D&S.. You guys rock and I hope you heart the sneak peek!
Thanks so much to Lights in the Attic for creating a unique and personal video for my bio! Jeff is a super talented videographer and you can check out his site here. I decided to create a fun promo video for clients to get to know me and who I am… (and yes, at times I’m totally cheesy!) Enjoy 🙂
George is in a band and all of his talented band mates and friends performed during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
Yes, T&G are so cool they had Voodoo Doughnut in lieu of a wedding cake. Their personal doughnut was the maple bacon heart… mmm true love and bacon!
Karaoke From Hell provided the kick ass entertainment with a live band and karaoke from Tiff and George’s family and friends. George performed a few songs and has an awesome voice!
Tiff and George are a terrific couple and they had an incredible wedding. Although it rained here and there during their wedding, the sun came out and shined at the perfect moments creating breathtaking memories throughout the magical day. Tiff and George are true soul mates and it was wonderful to witness their family and friends celebrating their love. Thank you SO much T&G for inviting me to document your surreal day. Your wedding really proves that love can turn and gray sky blue. Big love

Jenni teaches at Barre 3 in the Pearl and we were able to photograph inside during the rain for some awesome pics! How bad ass is this pic!?
Love all these pics that truly embody J&K’s personalities! check out Barr 3 for an awesome workout that combines ballet barre, yoga and pilates!
My personal fave. Love the elements of nature coming together here!
What a hot couple!
Another fave. Check her eyelashes! Wow!
Their Pearl apt. is ultra hip and has great light and color!
Jenni and Kyley and I all met up recently for a quintessential Portland photo shoot, with a little bit of sun and a lot of rain. Luckily, J&K live in the Pearl and we had a few awesome opportunities to duck for cover and create personal pics of the couple in their hip apartment, and in the courtyard of the impressive building. They are also in the process of selling their space, so these pics will be really meaningful after they’ve moved and can reminisce about their first space together as a couple. I’m really looking forward to their Aug. 28th wedding and hope they love the sneak peek!
Kim and Peter had an incredible vintage-inspired wedding with their closest family and friends at their NE home.
K&P were inspired by vintage photos of their family and we tried to replicate the poses and coloring of these cherished photos that adorn their walls.
Kim looked incredible in her hand dyed dress, mary janes and feathers in her hair.
The ceremony was short and sweet and took place in their dining room with about 6 attendees. Very intimate and cozy.
The invites and cake topper all came from their illustrator friend who used the couple and Edward Gorey as inspiration.
The delicious food and bar was catered by the lovely folks at Holocene.
Duchess created and tailored the suit for Peter and they are awesome.
This wedding was so beyond average. It was laid back, artistic, intimate and tons of fun.
Kim and Peter created an incredible afternoon and evening of festivities surrounding their marriage on May 8th. With a small ceremony in their dining room, a cocktail and appetizer reception in their turn of the century home, this wedding was very one of a kind. Inspired by vintage images of their families ancestry and the illustrations of Edward Gorey, they created a unique atmosphere for their family and friends. I loved everything about this wedding and hope K&P love their sneak peek. Thank you so much for sharing your day and your story.
How fun and awesome is this pic…partly because of the No Parking detail, mostly because of Kaley’s awesome hair!
We found this great truck in a nearby parking lot, but much to our surprise their was a killer dog in the front seat. (well, maybe not killer, but really scary!)
I’m in love with the motion involved with this series.
This building is so very 1940’s Dick Tracy…so rad
Two great shots from my awesome new second photographer Liam. Great pics of a hot couple!
Kaley and Brent along with Liam and I met up recently for a creative and fun engagement shoot in the Pearl District and China Town in NW Portland. Kaley and Brent are a really fun and intelligent couple who are getting married in August at the lovely Waverly Country Club. I’m really looking forward to documenting their first steps together as husband and wife. Hope you love the sneak peek K&B!
