Having the opportunity to travel to neighboring PNW cities to meet my lovely couples is an honor that I deeply cherish. I met adorable and fun couple, Christy and Addison, in Washington for their Seattle engagement! I loved the variety of Seattle we explored beginning with Volunteer Park Conservatory. The 15,000 square foot glass structure is a product of years of thought, design, and vision beginning as early as 1878 until its completion in 1912. The conservatory, originally modeled after London’s Crystal Palace, added its famous greenhouses by 1922. We continued our time together at various locations within Pike Place Market where the couple’s laid-back and sophisticated style shined. The quaint coffee shop, Storyville was a location for a many a date and the famous Gum Wall with over 20 years of gum stuck to it were just a few cool local spots we visited. We also discovered a nearby rooftop to capture some fab skyline photos that included the iconic Seattle Space Needle. SO happy for this smart and sweet couple who are getting married this August!

lot of great spots and had fun with sunglasses and sun-flare! I’m so
looking forward to your vintage-inspired wedding on Aug. 21st at the
delightful Queen Ann Victoria Mansion.
Thanks so much from coming from Seattle for the pics and for choosing
me to document your family and wedding! Enjoy the preview:)

Married: Michelle and Alex
Michelle and Alex have been married for over two years and inquired about an “engagement shoot for married couples” last fall. I love the idea of getting great photos taken of you and your honey long after you’ve said your I Do’s. It’s a great time to get
photos of you and your spouse for your living room, your family or even your facebook page! It was so great bonding with Alex and Michelle over our hometown of Ann Arbor Michigan! Go Blue! Alex and Michelle practice Kung Fu and ended the session with some beautiful forms. Michelle also manages Oblation, the amazing invite shop and paper boutique in the Pearl, which I highly recommend for save the dates or wedding invites! I also want to thank Chris Jernigan for assisting me! Hope you love the sneak peek Alex and Michelle!

Deer Creek Club Wedding Reception
About a month after Sarah and Luke’s incredible and intimate wedding in the pristine Washington mountains, they planned a reception in the great city of St. Louis, their hometown. All their family and friends greeted them Seattle Style! The reception at the Deer Creek Club was a blast with creative and fun references everywhere! Starbucks Coffee bags and The Seattle Times doubled as vases for the fresh flowers brought from Pike Place Market, rainboots acted as a holder for their guest sign-in pens, and hat umbrellas as party favors! Sarah and Luke are such cool people and their families are a ton of fun! Erica and I had the honor of traveling to photograph their stellar party and we also got a chance to hang out in this cool city with my friends, Kelda and Michael, whose wedding I photographed back in 2007! Love it:)
