Molly and Dan said “I do” 7,000 feet up in the air at Timberline Lodge’s Silcox Hut! It was a classic wedding with a down to earth yet elegant vibe. Silcox Hut is already a dazzling locale, but with the help of Wild Fern Florals, the space transformed into a woodland fantasy. Molly’s wore a whimsical & gorgeous dress by Watters and comfortable (and mountain friendly) champagne colored jellies. The greenery flowed from table to table during the reception symbolizing family togetherness and connection. It was a setting which reflected Molly and Dan’s love in a beautiful way, surrounded by their loved ones and plenty of laughs. The night went absolutely perfect thanks to Totem Weddings and Events. Highlights included a performance of the Irish jig from Molly’s sisters, adorable details like personalized s’mores party favors for the guests, a reminder of the night Dan proposed to Molly over s’mores in NYC. The couple decided to have their first look as Molly walked down the aisle. It was a much-anticipated moment and made all the more touching by Dan’s reaction upon seeing Molly. “Dan and I are both pretty traditional, and were insistent that we wanted to wait until this moment to see each other that day, instead of doing a first look. Nothing will beat the memory of seeing Danny’s smile as I walked down the aisle to meet him. My brother Mike walked me down the aisle, which was also really special to me after losing my dad. When I asked my husband what his most anticipated moment of the day was, he replied “’the kiss, of course!’” Congratulations on one incredible year together, Molly and Dan! Here’s to many more!

Timberline Lodge Wedding Photographs
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Nathan’s wedding on October 1st at the historic and beautiful Timberline Lodge. Their love is so flirty-fun and poetic and I had a blast photographing this amazing couple. Stephanie looked stunning in her dress which was a beautiful Wtoo by Watters dress. Nathan and all the guys looked awesome wearing classic and timeless tuxes which I think works well for an autumn ceremony and adds a sophisticated elegance. I loved the NW flair they added with the sapling favors, the earthy colors and the super fun dancing. Michelle with Amore Fiori created all the stunning flowers. Lynn with Media Jockeys kept the flow of the party and the dancing going all night! Thanks so much Stephanie and Nathan for choosing me to photograph your stellar wedding!

Jaimee & Steve Timberline Lodge Wedding
Jaimee and Steve are a super creative and fun couple who love nature and art. They actually made each others wedding rings in a foundry!
The amazing Austie Eckley on makeup. Love her!
Some fun with the guys getting ready.
The yummy mimosas to start the day!
Love love loved Jordan at Blum Design in Flowers bouquets and earthy elements that surrounded the amazing mountain resort.
An epic moment of Jaimee and her dad walking down the mountain to meet her future husband. Steve’s face is priceless and the entire scene was unforgettably beautiful.
Both families gathering during the ceremony.
Love this pic of the new bride and groom and their cute pup Zoe! The talented Travis, with Shields Films was documenting with HD video and plenty of 8mm.
Timberline Lodge is a breathtaking location and the perfect spot for a wedding!
The veil was dancing in the mountain breeze, which made for some cute pics of J&S.
Love the color palette and the turquoise jewelry.
The Bad Mitten Orchestre played and kept the dancing and hollerin’ going on all night! This band seriously rocks.
There were even fire dancers from Flamebuoyant Productions who came to perform an artistic and magical fire show with acrobatics with Mt. Hood in the background. (Did I mention that this wedding was off the charts awesome!?)
The coolest photobooth- The Original Photobooth kept the laughs up all night and I even snuck a few pics of the couple behind the curtain. Love these tender moments.
Jaimee and Steve… What can I say!? Their celebration of love under the stars, beneath Mt. Hood was nothing less of incredible. Jaimee and Steve are a very compassionate and artistic couple with lots of love. Erica and I were thrilled to document their amazing wedding in July with perfect weather, gorgeous flowers, a great band, fun friends, all night dancing, fire acrobats, a vintage-style photo booth and endless amounts of love. SO happy to have documented such an inspiring event! Hope you love the sneak peek J&S! xoxo
