Zoe is an impressive Mastiff, who's actually the runt! Her mom is 98 lbs! She's a cutiepie!

Jaimee and Steve are a really fun couple with awesome energy and spirit. Jaimee and Steve really love nature and are inspired by the Oregon rivers, forests and trees and I love that! Travis Shields, of Shields Films fame, and I recently met up with the cute couple in Laurelhurst Park in SE Portland with their wonderful dog, Zoe. I'm really excited to be documenting their wedding taking place in July at Timberline, one of my favorite venues! J&S- Hope you love the sneak peek and I can't wait for you're amazing wedding!

Kami and Brett are a super kind-hearted couple. We photographed at Rejuvenation in SE Portland.

Photographing through the lighting fixtures. Love this shot.

They met while parking their cars at the same time beneath the Hawthorne bridge, this is the exact location.

Kami and Brett are such an awesome couple who are getting married in May of this year. For their engagement session we had quite the adventure! We started at an architectural salvage shop because K&B just bought their first home together and love to work on home projects together. Then we went to the waterfront beneath the Hawthorne bridge to document where they first met. I was completely inspired by their story and their positive energy and I can't wait to be a part of their wedding soon!

Sally and John and I met up at Laurelhurst Park in SE Portland for their fun engagement shoot. The weather was perfect, the colors were incredible and Sally and John are in love... What could be better? Sally and John met on Alberta Street and are inspired by nature, God and each other. I can't wait to be a part of their July wedding at the World Forestry Center in the Hoyt Arboretum! Enjoy the sneak peek S&J!

Thanks so much Ashley and Mike, I feel very honored to have documented your fun and festive photo shoot before Mike's deployment into Afghanistan. It takes a lot of courage and bravery to be there and our positive thoughts are with you all. The Petersen Family!

I love how Isaiah's watching mom and dad kiss!

Some of you might recognize the cutie pie blonde baby in these photos as Isaiah from his 6 month session! Well... He's already a year old and such a big boy:) They grow up sooo fast, he was walking all over the place! I met up recently with the lovely Kehau, her amazing husband Dean and their great family at the beautiful Laurelhurst Park. When I originally photographed Isaiah, we focused mainly on him (how can you not!) This time around however it was a super fun-filled day with Mom, Dad, Grandma and Cousin! Kehau is originally from Hawaii, so her mom and niece flew in for the b-day party and we were all able to get together for the nature-inspired family photos! Hope you love the sneak peek and your comments are always encouraged!

Kathy & Johnny | Laurelhurst Park Wedding

Kathy and Johhny's remarkable wedding took place on July 25th all over Portland! The traditional tea ceremony was filled with great emotion and bright colors and the asking of permission to receive the bride was an amazing experience to document. Kathy had three beautiful outfits, and yes she had three fun pairs of shoes to go with them. (Yeah- I love shoes!!!) Her first dress is called Áo dài and it's worn during the tea ceremony and for part of the reception. She also wore a stunning classic gown, and a rocking Betsey Johnson cocktail dress for the dancing. The ceremony took place at the SE Asian Vicariate church, which was very cool and sweet. We all went to Laurelhurst park immedialty following for some fun wedding party and couples pics, and then onto dinner. The food at Legin was yummy and so was the decor! The colors were green and white, which they weaved throughout the room with white orchids and green linens. The music was really fun and so was the crowd! Everyone was lauging and smiling and having a great time grooving to the beat. I'm so honored that Kathy and Johnny choose me to document their first steps together as husband and wife! Engaged: Amber & Kody

Amber & Kody are getting married in August at the beautiful Shakespeare Gardens in the International Rose Garden, with a lunch wedding reception at the amazing Portland City Grill. We recently met in SE Portland at Laurelhurst Park with their awesome dogs! (Yes, that's pretty much the cutest puppy you've ever seen!) I love photographing at Laurelhurst because it's a huge, inspiring nature park in he middle of the bustling city. I am super excited and honored to photograph Amber and Kody's wedding on August 3rd. Engaged: Tiffany & Adam

Tiffany and Adam are an awesome and fun couple that I'm so happy to have met! Their wedding will take place on Sept. 26th at The Copper Creek Inn, near Mt. Rainer in Ashford Washington. They have the coolest doggies and It was really fun to get photos of them. Tiffany and Adam and I all met in Laurelhurst Park for a great afternoon of engagment and puppy pics. Engaged: Ali and Jared!

Ali and Jared are tying on the knot at the beautiful Garden Vineyards on Aug. 7th, 2009 and I'm honored that I'm the chosen photographer! We had a great time in Laurelhurst Park, located in SE Portland. The light was magical and the flowers were in bloom :) there happened to be chalk on the sidewalk, and we took care of the thank you cards well in advance. (check that off the list!) I also was working with the newest addition to the Jessica Hill Photography team, Leah Verwey! She's a very talented photographer and a very sweet person! We're happy to have her on board and looking forward to taking the 09 Summer by storm! Jared and Ali, you're great fun and I hope you love the post! Looking forward to designing your Guest Book!
