Kathy and Johhny's remarkable wedding took place on July 25th all over Portland! The traditional tea ceremony was filled with great emotion and bright colors and the asking of permission to receive the bride was an amazing experience to document. Kathy had three beautiful outfits, and yes she had three fun pairs of shoes to go with them. (Yeah- I love shoes!!!) Her first dress is called Áo dài and it's worn during the tea ceremony and for part of the reception. She also wore a stunning classic gown, and a rocking Betsey Johnson cocktail dress for the dancing. The ceremony took place at the SE Asian Vicariate church, which was very cool and sweet. We all went to Laurelhurst park immedialty following for some fun wedding party and couples pics, and then onto dinner. The food at Legin was yummy and so was the decor! The colors were green and white, which they weaved throughout the room with white orchids and green linens. The music was really fun and so was the crowd! Everyone was lauging and smiling and having a great time grooving to the beat. I'm so honored that Kathy and Johnny choose me to document their first steps together as husband and wife! Adam and Tarina's rocking wedding at the Mississippi Ballroom was filled with love, laughs, and live music! Adam actually sang this amazing Elton John song to Tarina during their first dance, so make sure the volume is up! To see full screen please click here.

On July 18th Jillian and Nick were married at the beautiful Timberline Lodge. The day was perfect and so are J&N for each other! We were able to get
some fun wedding party and romantic couple photos at the base of Mt. Hood. I really enjoyed photographing among the wildflowers and crisp air of the mountains, and thought it was especially cool that Jillian's gorgeous bouquet was designed to match the wildflowers among us! The ceremony was extremely touching and a bit funny when Jillian accidentally put Nick's ring on the right hand, and exclaimed "Do Over" and the wedding went on with big smiles! Thanks for the help, Leah, my awesome assistant and the newest addition the the Jessica Hill Photography team!
