Leah and I had the great pleasure of shooting Pernilla and Alex's wedding at The lovely View Point Inn in Corbett, Oregon. Not only was this couple beautiful, so was the day! Some may think that a down pour in the middle of the ceremony would call for tears, but Pernilla was all smiles as she lead the guests indoors to finish off the I Do's beside the fireplace! The magnificent orchid centerpieces and flowers were created by Francoise Weeks. Pernilla looked absolutely stunning in her chic gown. Her hair and makeup were done by the ever-so talented Jennifer Rand-Walker of Face Body Beauty. Thank you Pernilla and Alex!  I am honored to have been invited to share in this special day and I hope you like the sneak peek!

These turned out great! What a cute couple :) I really love the last photo with the sun setting outside. We added a short clip to our blog from their wedding. It is Pernilla's mom giving a toast. It was fun working with you!

Thank you Libby and Kenneth for choosing me to document your rocking awesome day! Not only is this couple fun and amazing, so was the perfect weather matched with a breathtaking view! The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the The Viewpoint Inn a historic boutique hotel in Corbett, Oregon. Their wedding colors were neutral golds and taupes with hints of black, which created a classic vintage, timeless feel. The beautiful flowers were by A Floral Affair. Libby looked gorgeous in her Lea Ann Belter  gown, and Stuart Weitzman heels. Kenneth was looking sharp in a classic tux and all the guys wore fun Mexican wrestling socks from Sock It To Me! They played very cool music courtesy of The Djangophiles, whose gypsy jazz tunes were the perfect compliment to the atmosphere. All the guests marveled at the beautiful sky and the elegant surroundings while having a very memorable evening of celebration complete with fake mustaches all around! Congratulations Libby and Kenneth and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness! Enjoy the sneak peek:)

Libby and Kenneth are a super cool couple who are getting married August 29th at the beautiful View Point Inn. We recenlty met up for a very urban and hip engagement shoot. I love photographing on the streets of Portland, because there is always something weird and different. We found this super funky car in the Pearl district, and I love the solar flair, which adds to the colors! We also ran into a tall cowboy on the waterfront, which adds an element of mystery to the pics! Thanks so much for choosing me to document your first steps together as husband and wife and enjoy the sneak peek!

Thank you Rachelle and Aaron for choosing me to document your breathtaking wedding day! Not only was this couple amazing, so was the perfect weather matched with a breathtaking view! The wedding ceremony was held at darling The Bell Tower Chapel and the reception was held at The Viewpoint Inn a historic boutique hotel on Larch Mountain overlooking the Gorge. Their wedding colors were green and brown with hints of ivory and black which created a classic vintage, earthy feel. The yummy and beautiful cake was made by Melissa at Sweet Cakes. Rachelle looked gorgeous in her Casablanca gown, and Aaron looked sharp in a brown suit.  All the guests marveled at the beautiful sky and the elegant surroundings while having a very memorable afternoon of celebration! The couple drove away in Aaron's awesome yellow GTE, which made for quite the send off :)  Congratulations Rachelle and Aaron and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Rachelle and Aaron and I met up in February for their super fun engagement shoot around the Pearl district and downtown Portland. A few locations included the Eco-Trust wall, the Portland sign, the Park Blocks and Union Station. We found it particularly convenient that it happen to be Lincoln's Birthday and we were shooting near his well-known sculpture downtown! Someone had placed daffodils in his hand, which made us smile:) We had a lot of fun chatting about the wedding and I feel blessed to have been chosen as their wedding photographer! Rachelle and Aaron are a perfect match and are clearly soul mates:) Their wedding will be May 3rd at the beautiful Bell Tower Chapel with the reception at View Point Inn, one of my absolute favorite venues! I'm so looking forward to photographing Rachelle and Aaron's unique wedding!
