Kathy and Johhny’s remarkable wedding took place on July 25th all over Portland! The traditional tea ceremony was filled with great emotion and bright colors and the asking of permission to receive the bride was an amazing experience to document. Kathy had three beautiful outfits, and yes she had three fun pairs of shoes to go with them. (Yeah- I love shoes!!!) Her first dress is called Áo dài and it’s worn during the tea ceremony and for part of the reception. She also wore a stunning classic gown, and a rocking Betsey Johnson cocktail dress for the dancing. The ceremony took place at the SE Asian Vicariate church, which was very cool and sweet. We all went to Laurelhurst park immedialty following for some fun wedding party and couples pics, and then onto dinner. The food at Legin was yummy and so was the decor! The colors were green and white, which they weaved throughout the room with white orchids and green linens. The music was really fun and so was the crowd! Everyone was lauging and smiling and having a great time grooving to the beat. I’m so honored that Kathy and Johnny choose me to document their first steps together as husband and wife!
