Alex, Cody, and I, along with their very sweet lab, Lincoln, met up in the Mt. Hood wilderness, near the town of Mt. Hood. The season was very early spring and the air was crisp and the snow was still on the ground but beginning to melt. We decided to embrace the season and the snow, with the couple even laying on a snow-covered walking bridge over the Hood River!!! It was a magical snowy wonderland! For stunning views of Mt. Hood we traveled to Grateful Vineyard, a local favorite for pizza, cider and great views of the mountain… and, after quite a bit of cloud coverage, she finally came behind the clouds for some amazing moments! (*Yes, Mt. Hood is a she to me!) I love the adventurous and kind spirit of this remarkable couple and I’m so excited to document their first steps as husband and wife this weekend at Ski Bowl!!
