Chan and Dale are a beautiful couple, who’s fantastic wedding I had the honor of photographing last September at the Oregon Golf Club. I was so happy to hear that they were expecting a baby boy! Baby Jackson was born on July 15th and is the cutest thing ever! He’s pictured here at only 8 days old. While we were photographing he was wide awake and facinated with his surroundings, especially the camera! We finally got him to snooze while some quiet portraits were taken. Dale and Chan own a stunning home in the Hills and we were lucky enough to get some great outdoor photos of the amazing Oak tree outside their home that baby Jackson will someday have a tree house in! Thanks so much for introducing me to Jackson and I’m so excited to see him and your family grow! Enjoy the sneak peek and please leave a comment if you can!
I’m honored to announce that I have been selected to be 1 of 20 photographers featured on the My Portland Photographer blog! The blog was started last year by a group of well-established and
extremely talented Portland-area photographers. My Portland Photographer is an incredible opportunity for some of the best Portland photographers to post just one or two favorite images once a week, along with a brief story about the image or event. It’s exciting to see such a great community of photographers bringing their own unique style to the same website. The blog is a true collaboration of artists! I love blogging on MPP because I can pick my absolute favorite images to feature, not just the standard cake-cutting, first dance fare that’s expected. Check out my newest post here, which features Adam and Tarina’s hip wedding. Look for the Jessica Hill Photography posts every Monday!
I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with Kahau, a friend and the catering manager at the amazing Heathman restaurant, and her adorable baby boy Isaiah! I visited her and her husband’s beautiful new home to find the cutest bundle of joy waiting for his close up! At only 6 months old, Isaiah has quite the personality:) Thanks so much Kahau for being a gracious hostess and for inviting me to document this precious time in your family’s ancestry!
