Rachel and Anthony are an awesome couple who are planning a Friday night wedding on the Eco-Trust rooftop. We had a great time during their engagements with all the colors and textures in the Pearl District. The couple has a modern and clean style, so we incorporated a lot of incredible architecture. I’m so excited to photograph their wedding in July! Hope you love the sneak peek R&A!

Britt & David
Portland Engagement Photos

David proposed to Britt with 1000 paper cranes that he folded. The tradition comes from an ancient Japanese legend, which grants the receiver of the cranes with 1000 years of happiness and prosperity.

Love these vintage-inspired images in a cool phone booth. These things are practically vintage!

David brought his bow and arrow and we set up some imaginative theme photos. I love love love this image!

Britt is in medical school and is almost Dr. Brittany! Her wonderful parents bought her this medical bag to keep her supplies in.

Their dog, Tycho, was in tow and was the sweetest thing ever! How cute is it that they all match!

Britt and David are tying the knot in September of this year at the incredible Lac de Fleur gardens. We recently met up in SE Portland for their unique engagement photo session, which was inspired by all things B&D! They brought their favorite things that meant the most to them, including David’s bow and arrow, Britt’s medical bag, and of course, their awesome dog, Tycho! Britt and David are a creative and intelligent couple and I can’t wait for their wedding! Hope you love the sneak peek B&D!

Zoe is an impressive Mastiff, who’s actually the runt! Her mom is 98 lbs! She’s a cutiepie!

Jaimee and Steve are a really fun couple with awesome energy and spirit. Jaimee and Steve really love nature and are inspired by the Oregon rivers, forests and trees and I love that! Travis Shields, of Shields Films fame, and I recently met up with the cute couple in Laurelhurst Park in SE Portland with their wonderful dog, Zoe. I’m really excited to be documenting their wedding taking place in July at Timberline, one of my favorite venues! J&S- Hope you love the sneak peek and I can’t wait for you’re amazing wedding!

Danielle and Sean are super fun and we had a blast on the photo shoot. I couldn’t stop laughing with them!

Yes, this is their campaign poster of love.

Danielle and Sean are in love with laughter, fun and each other. We met up recently at Laurelhurst Park in SE Portland and they brought some fun props like bubbles, candy and American flags that were made in China…. We laughed a lot and had a great time gallivanting around the park finding cool backdrops for the pics. I’m super excited to photograph their May wedding, which is right around the corner. Tiff and George are super sweet, kind-hearted and fun.

This last pic makes my heart smile. I’m so honored and excited to photograph Tiffany and George’s wedding this May at the stunning Garden Vineyards. I just found out that their wedding “cake” is Voodoo Doughnuts, and that’s what they will be cutting together on the big night. So fun and awesome. Hope you enjoy the sneak preview Tiff & George and I can’t wait to document your first dance into this beautiful dreamy life together as husband and wife.

Kami and Brett are a super kind-hearted couple. We photographed at Rejuvenation in SE Portland.

Photographing through the lighting fixtures. Love this shot.

They met while parking their cars at the same time beneath the Hawthorne bridge, this is the exact location.

Kami and Brett are such an awesome couple who are getting married in May of this year. For their engagement session we had quite the adventure! We started at an architectural salvage shop because K&B just bought their first home together and love to work on home projects together. Then we went to the waterfront beneath the Hawthorne bridge to document where they first met. I was completely inspired by their story and their positive energy and I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding soon!

Sally and John and I met up at Laurelhurst Park in SE Portland for their fun engagement shoot. The weather was perfect, the colors were incredible and Sally and John are in love… What could be better? Sally and John met on Alberta Street and are inspired by nature, God and each other. I can’t wait to be a part of their July wedding at the World Forestry Center in the Hoyt Arboretum! Enjoy the sneak peek S&J!

Meet Amy and Kevin. They are really kind, like to laugh and love each other.

Amy’s eye’s are an incredible blue!

When I asked Kevin and Amy about their engagement they both laughed a little and looked at each other. I was wondering what really happened!? As it turns out, Kevin was working in London at the time and Amy came to visit him. They went for a walk (in the rain) and Amy wanted to head back to the flat. Little did Amy know that Kevin was on a mission to propose to his high school sweet heart and carried on with the walk. When the moment happened and Kevin pulled out a stunning solitaire and the question: “Will you marry me?” happened, Amy, out of shock and joy and surprise blurted out “Are you Kidding!” Of course that was a Yes and I can’t wait to document their Eugene Oregon Vineyard Wedding in July. Thanks so much Amy and Kevin for making it to Portland from your lovely home in Cali and for dealing with the crazy lady, the rain, and the cold. Hope you love the photos and hop up and down with excitement. jh
