Je t’aimerai toujours. I love you forever. The sound of the waterfall in the background, surrounded with a huddle of their closest family and vowing to love each other forever in French, this is their story. Ellie and Matthieu have the kind of love that spans continents, from North America to Europe. They originally met in Paris, where Ellie was studying abroad and now reside in Portland. They adventured the world together and realized that they had something real. Matthieu proposed and the adventure of their lifetime continued. I had the pleasure of photographing Ellie’s brother’s beautiful wedding back in 2012 and that’s where I met both Ellie and Matthieu and their family. You could already see that they were perfect together, a gorgeous couple and oh-so in love, so I was beyond elated and honored to photograph their engagements and then their wedding ceremony elopement this April at the base of the majestic Bridal Veil Falls with a park picnic reception. Ellie wore a stunning Claire LaFaye dress and Brenna Burnett created the stunning bouquet and boutonnières. I especially loved that Ellie got ready in the woods, at the trailhead parking lot. (Yes folks- she’s that classy and laid back at the same time!) They will be celebrating with extended family and friends at their wedding reception this September.

Elizabeth and Tim
A Left Bank Wedding Sneak Peek
The way that Tim looks at Elizabeth is enough to make you smile and think to yourself… “Wow- that love is visible.” That pretty much sums up their entire wedding weekend. Filled with visable love, laughter to the point of tears and beautiful Pacific Northwest weather, their St. Patrick’s Day wedding weekend at the Old Church and Left Bank Annex couldn’t have been more perfect. And this is just a sneak peek of the epic-ness that took place. So honored and elated to have documented their weekend. I wish you both the best of love, life, and happiness!
SO many dream team vendors that I was honored to work with; on point coordination from Bridal Bliss, stunning flowers and foliage by Zest, delicious cakes by Dream Cakes, gorgeous dresses from Anna’s Bridal, lovely hair and makeup from Face Body Beauty, awesome music from the band Precious Byrd and DJ Chad Dowling, great videography from J&M Media, yummy catering from Devil’s Food and picture-perfect rentals from The Party Place and Classic Vintage Rentals. WHAT A WEDDING!
Sarah and Carter
A Winter Wedding at the Armory Portland
Sarah and Carter planned a festive winter wedding at the beautiful Armory Gerding Theatre with lots of personal touches, twinkle and laughter. Although their wedding took place almost year ago, there are so many timeless details and oh-so holiday inspired decor, I really wanted to post this when the season felt right… Christmas! When you find out your bride is also a professional fashion stylist, and the planner is Nora Sheils with Bridal Bliss you know the wedding is going to be on fleek! This couple is just as kind-hearted as they are beautiful and I loved how they involved their family in a lot of the overall wedding themes.Carter’s dad was an architect on the building they wed in, which added to the personal feelings of home and Sarah sparkled with family heirloom diamonds. What a gorgeous couple! The white and pinecone stunned blooms from Zest Floral with the faux fur wraps and sequin dresses looked dazzling on on the bridesmaids and the guys looked dapper in classic black tuxes. Truly a night to remember and happy one year anniversary S&C! Happy holidays everyone and hope your heart and home are warm and cozy this holiday season!

Leslie and Matt
A Cathedral Park Wedding at St. John
Leslie and Matt’s wedding was nothing short of a fantastic, whimsical and memorable day and night of festivities beneath the St. John’s bridge in Cathedral Park. Complete with a bike decorating station, a bike parade, guests singing “A Bicycle Built for Two” during the ceremony, live music a plenty, fresh pies from Pie Spot and a choreographed dance to M.J’s Thriller, all guests were in for a treat of a wedding! Leslie and Matt have that kind of love that you can feel. There was an electricity in the air, along with some subtle rain that made for a night to remember. With Leslie’s stunning dress from Divine Designs, amazing planning from Molly Barrs with Soiree events, colorful fun florals from East West Floral Arts and a killer live band, Five Guys Named Moe, this was the party to remember.
