Rocked at the Nines!

Rocked at the Nines is hands down one of the best bridal shows i’ve ever seen or been in! It’s a fun and interactive show that allows the guests a peek inside several different rooms, each having a different theme, look, and color palette. For this year’s show, I was in the stunning Grand Ballroom for the “Timeless Romance” theme. I loved the golden hues and textures with lots of candle light, designed by Rachelle at Champagne Events, along with Anna Mara Flowers. The rest of the room was comprised of Ecru Stationary, West Coast Event Productions, Peekaboo Portland, Devil’s Food Catering, and the gorgeous cakes were created by La Jaconde. A beautiful event!

3rd Annual Client Appreciation Party and Open House!

I was so excited to have the third annual Client Appreciation Party and Open House at my new studio on Mississippi Ave. A huge thanks to everyone who came out to make this fun party happen! The gorgeous tables, linens and glassware and bistro lights were from the experts at West Coast Event Productions. The stunning flowers made the Spring theme alive, from the fabulous Jordan at Blum Design in Flowers. The music was awesome, thanks to Lisa spinning vinyl via DJ Bad Wizard. The fun photobooth was insane and always a party hit, the Original Photo Booth makes it happen! The lovely Hors d’oeuvres were created with love from Tarri Butler, with Tarri’s Table. Mini yum yum cupcakes were the perfect treat from Cupcake Jones. My makeup and hair and tons of help and love from Kirstie Wight with Kirstie Wight Makeup. Photos taken by the talented Elijah Hoffman. The biggest thanks goes to my clients for making my dreams a success and my life a happy and fulfilled one. Thank you so so much!

2nd Annual Client Appreciation Party at The Heathman!

The second annual client appreciation party was a huge success thanks to incredible clients and amazing vendor friends!

Champagne Events coordinated the event and created a mock table to display their design talent! So luscious and elegant! Love this team and recommend them for your event!

The lovely ladies at Punch Floral Design crafted the fun floral arrangements!

West Coast Event Productions was the mastermind behind the teal linens and classic Chavari chairs! Love them!

A few of my favorite women in the industry! The Champagne team and Jennifer Walker with Face Body Beauty– Who made me look and feel beautiful with her makeup and hair talent!

Yeah for awesome clients! You may remember this cutie from his baby session in the studio!

The ladies at Divine Designs are incredible!

The Heathman Hotel created the perfect atmosphere and a stunning food display that was delish!

Amber of Le Cookie Monkey provided mini cupcakes and cookies and her baked goods are seriously addictive they are soooo good!

I heart my clients! Maria won the bottle of wine that the talented Jeffrey of Lights in the Attic put into the raffle. We have a special video coming your way next week, so stay tuned!

The dashing team at Royal Steamline created the vintage-inspired invites and quite simply, they are an incredible duo that transform your invite into a custom art piece. Check out the invite here.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you to all the wonderful clients and rockin’ vendors who made the 2nd annual Jessica Hill Photography client appreciation party a huge success! I love having all my clients (aka friends!) in one place to get to know each other outside of the typical “What time does your ceremony start?” vocab. I really value our relationships and getting to know each couple’s style and personality makes me happy! Thanks again and see you soon!

Pure Event Space in the Pearl

Several amazing caterers were represented and created stunning and delicious hors d’oeuvres.

The water wall created a soothing and elegant atmosphere.

It was an incredible event! This is the loft, which looked stunning as well.

Signature cocktails included Acai martini’s!

The hip new Pure Event Space in the NW industrial Pearl district is incredibly spacious, light, clean and stylish. West Coast Event Productions is the force behind this awesome space and did breathtaking work with the design and layout. The clean and modern design was minimal, yet elegant with a fresh “green” feel. West Coast hosted the open house and wow-ed all in attendance! Complete with several water walls and fresh greens throughout, the industrial space felt uplifting and welcoming. I highly recommend the Pure Space for your wedding or event!

Chinese New Year at The Nines!

Complete with a make-your-own fortune cookie station.

The Nines is one of my favorite Portland Hotels.

Paparazzi tonight provided the fun photo booth with props!

DJ Rescue, Zia from the Dandy Warhols, was spinning the incredible Asian Fusion Lounge music.

Westcoast Event Rental provided the lanterns, the wishing tree and the lions at the bar.

The Lee On Dong Dance Team did the Lion Dance, symbolizing good fortune in the coming year. The lettuce symbolizes financial prosperity.

The Nines in downtown Portland is a couture boutique hotel with amazing architecture, poetic food and a friendly staff. Their Chinese New Year party was a rad event complete with great music, signature cocktails, incredible food and some of the best decor I’ve seen. A huge wishing tree was the central focus, along with lanterns and custom lighting, West Coast Event Productions pulled out all the stops when decorating for this cultural celebration. So happy I was there!
