Erika and James are a beautiful San Francisco couple who are gracing Portland with their nuptials this October. We met up recently for their very Portland inspired engagement shoot at Powell’s and Hoyt Arboretum in Forest Park. I love their style, their energy and I’m honored to be documenting their first steps together as husband and wife soon! Thanks E&J!
Melanie and Nate know how to throw a party! Their wedding was at the Crystal Ballroom was so fun, filled with laughter, energy and dancing. We started at one of my absolute favorite hotels, The Hotel Deluxe, for getting ready and first look, and continued onto the ballroom. It was cool to photograph a wedding there, as I usually go there to see live music. The light that filed the space was stunning and so was the bride and groom. Melanie shared a special flamenco dance with the guests and they had a yummy vegetarian dinner. I love the pics we took on the balcony overlooking the classic “dance” sign over Burnside. People were shouting congrats up from their cars as the couple kissed. Congrats M&N and thanks for inviting me to document your magical day!
