Petersen Family Update!

Hannah again, with more gorgeous family shoots 🙂 Allow me to reintroduce the Petersen Family, who you may remember from their 2009 family shoot in downtown Portland!

Isaiah, mom and dad had a fun shoot on the Park blocks of downtown Portland. These autumn leaves feature so heavily in our shoots for a reason – they’re beautiful, and they never last!

Look at that grin! Little kids are the coolest EVER.

Lily and her parents met up with Jessica in Seattle, and had a blast playing at the park. This kid’s smile is just infectious!

Meet her proud parents, Sarah and Luke. You may remember them; Jessica documented their intimate winter wedding at Suncadia Resort back in 2009!

I mean, it’s kind of a known fact that kids are WAY cooler than grown-ups.

M&T’s engagement shoot took them around the historic Amtrak station, and a little of the NW downtown waterfront. Had to incorporate a few classic Portland themes – vive le MAX!

Alix and Ben are a magical and artistic couple who traveled here from Louisiana to have a destination wedding on the coast!

Ben=Lover

Cannon Beach Florist created the ahhh-mazing bouquets with stunning succulents!

Both Alix and Ben have daughters. Ella, Rowan and Zoe are new sisters!

The breathtaking vows on the Oregon coast. Manzanita, Oregon is one of my favorite places with Neahkahnie Mountain in the backdrop.

All the guests placed sand in a ceramic vase during the sand ceremony.

Alix and Ben are inspiring and beautiful. Both working artists and parents, their love and energy are poetic.

Alix looked stunning! Loved her dress from JCrew and her awesome necklace from Anthropologie.

A beautiful father-daughter dance in the living room of the gorgeous private home of Ben’s aunt Nancy, where the reception took place.

Words can’t describe how incredibly intimate, and lovely this day was. Alix and Ben are wonderful individuals and they both light up the room with grace and kindness. Their daughters are all darling and they have a beautiful way with their family. I was truly inspired by them and I loved their small, cozy and stylish wedding. I’m so happy for you all and your new incredible family! Hope you love the sneak peek A&B! xo

Nathan and Whitney are a wonderful couple who’s love spans this continent….quite literally! He’s currently in Idaho finishing school and she’s in Alaska, working as an attorney.

Gotta love the train station!

I loved all the energy and excitement that Whitney and Nathan shared as we wondered the downtown area and photographed in a cool antique store for some fun variety!

Their love for one another makes hearts smile.

How hot is this couple!? I loved the hats and vintage-style look. The light was perfect.

WOW! Whitney and Nathan came to visit Nathan’s family as well as see each other, as Portland is a good stopping place for their two cities. I knew that W&N would be saying their good byes the next day, so the photos really meant a lot. The couple would whisper something sweet into the others ear and I could see how in love they were! I’m excited for them tie the knot in Walla Walla next July and I know that these pics will represent an unforgettable time in their life of anticipation. Hope you love the sneak peek W&N! xo

Baby Harper!

Baby Harper Jane was born in July and is as cute as a button! I was lucky enough to document her parent’s beautiful wedding back in 2008 and am SO happy for them and their new family!

Adore these pics of both mom and dad giving kisses to baby Harper! I think these two black and white images would be stunning as a side-by-side canvas!

Harper is such a little doll baby! I bet her beautiful hair and blue eyes make all the other little baby girls jealous on the play ground!

Baby Harper Jane is such a sweet and calm little girl! I was SO thrilled to find out that Mona and Jeff were expecting and my heart melted a little when I heard she was a baby girl named Harper Jane! Is this not the cutest name for a baby girl ever!? I held her and she was super bright eyed and curious about all the photography equipment and props in the studio. (A promising new photographer!?)
