A Benson Hotel Wedding

Julie and Joe are just the sweetest couple! This kind couple were married last winter at the First Presbyterian Church and later held their reception at The Benson. The amazing Catherine, with Bridal Bliss mastered the coordination for their day while Blum created the elegant bouquets. Julie looked beyond elegant in her dress with delicate lace long sleeves, perfect for the season. (which then detached from the dress for the dance floor)! These two lovebirds decided not to see each other until they were walking down the aisle and oh my goodness, there was such magic when their eyes met! Following the ceremony, guests moved to The historic Benson Hotel for a beautiful white and gold reception featuring Christmas trees, twinkling lights and a gorgeous cake from Dream Cakes! From the unforgettable toasts to the lively dance party with music from DJ John Ross Music, their wedding was beyond incredible! Wishing Julie and Joe many more happy anniversaries to come!

A Portland Center Stage at the Armory Wedding

Imagine soft piano music playing beneath twinkly lights, fresh greenery and white flowers in abundance from Liz Rusnac all among some of the coolest architecture you’ve ever seen at the Armory Portland Center Stage. In walk the newlyweds Kelsey and Drew looking timelessly elegant and delightfully happy in a gorgeous modern wedding dress from The White Dress and classic black Tux custom made from Wildwood & Company . Complete with a caricature artist creating personal sketches of the guests to take home, to a posh wedding cigar bar and dreamiest cake from Dream Cakes, the amazing Catherine with Bridal Bliss, made sure this wedding was executed flawlessly! Art of Catering was the award-winning team to cater the event and live band made the dance floor poppin’ all night! This was a classic Portland wedding with an elegant yet relaxed vibe and I’m so honored to have documented this stunner of a wedding day! Thank you Kelsey and Drew!

Kim and Brian are an adorable, relaxed and fun couple with a passion for life, music and nature and I’m SO happy to have documented their beautiful wedding!

Kim’s friend from Spain surprised the couple with a traditional Flamenco dance which was seriously the most beautiful dance I have ever seen in my life.

Everyone danced and sang under the stars… very magical!

This wedding was incredible. Kim and Brian planned for a relaxed, yet elegant wedding with plenty of scenic vistas, delicious food, live music and beautiful stars. With a variety of local wildflowers and a nature-inspired palette of blues and orange, this was just as fun to photograph as it looks. Kim and Brian have a fun blog where they document and write about their adventures together, it can be found here and it’s cute, (and so are they!)
