Happy 60th Anniversary!

Grandparents.jpg
Grandparents_Love.jpg

My grandparents are incredible and I’m so blessed to have them in my life! Shirley and Doug (aka Grams and Gramps) are super active and love tennis, bridge, their Christmas tree farm and their mystery club, which is this cool club they belong to that holds their meetings at a mystery location each month! I recently discovered these photos of them and wanted to share in the bliss.I love the wedding pic on the doorstep- taken 60 years ago! This photo is a testament to my passion and mission as a wedding photographer… To document timeless and endless love that future generations will smile about, if only for a moment.

Great idea to have flower “women” instead of “girls” – Way to make it a unique wedding party, which includes everybody! The incredible flowers by Kay at Flowers For You!

Tiffany’s wedding pearls atop a photo of her grandparents on their wedding day. Adam’s grandfather’s pocket watch sits on the dedication table.

Tiffany is a wonderful photographer and owes a lot of her inspiration to her grandfather and his camera. We all took photos with the twin lens reflex that day and I can’t wait to see what magic that film has in store.

The Puppies! Dresden, in the tux, Callie is the precious hound and Fiona is the loving lab. So cool that they could be there.

yes, it’s true that Adam’s sister (also the best wo-man) read The Velveteen Rabbit during the ceremony… amazing.

The dahlias were fresh from the farm, and the little Mojo favor bags included various rocks and shells collected from different parts of the world that mean something to the couple.

The Copper Creek Inn on Mt. Ranier in Ashford, Washington is an incredible place to have a wedding.

Thank you Libby and Kenneth for choosing me to document your rocking awesome day! Not only is this couple fun and amazing, so was the perfect
weather matched with a breathtaking view! The wedding ceremony and
reception were held at the The Viewpoint Inn
a historic boutique hotel in Corbett, Oregon. Their wedding colors were neutral golds and taupes with hints of black, which created
a classic vintage, timeless feel. The beautiful flowers were by A Floral Affair. Libby looked gorgeous in her Lea Ann Belter  gown, and Stuart Weitzman heels. Kenneth was looking sharp in a classic tux and all the guys wore fun Mexican wrestling socks from Sock It To Me! They played very cool music courtesy of The Djangophiles, whose gypsy jazz tunes were the perfect compliment to the atmosphere. All the guests
marveled at the beautiful sky and the elegant surroundings while having
a very memorable evening of celebration complete with fake mustaches all around! Congratulations Libby and Kenneth and I wish you
both a lifetime of happiness! Enjoy the sneak peek:)

Taryn and Aaron are a wonderful couple
and have a great energy together! Their wedding took place on  August 28th at the New Heights Church and the Vancouver Water Resource Center.
Their colors were red and black with spashes of yellow and purple and they reflected the fun
elegance of the day. The best part of the day was hanging out on the grounds of the Water Resource Center for fun pics of the couple and the wedding party. The view, the fountain, the sky.. It was all perfect and
the couple shows it! Thank you so much Taryn and Aaron for inviting me
to document your first steps together as husband and wife! Hope you
enjoy the view!

On July 18th Jillian and Nick were married at the beautiful Timberline Lodge. The day was perfect and so are J&N for each other! We were able to get
some fun wedding party and romantic couple photos at the base of Mt. Hood. I really enjoyed photographing among the wildflowers and crisp air of the mountains, and thought it was especially cool that Jillian’s gorgeous bouquet was designed to match the wildflowers among us! The ceremony was extremely touching and a bit funny when Jillian accidentally put Nick’s ring on the right hand, and exclaimed “Do Over” and the wedding went on with big smiles! Thanks for the help, Leah, my awesome assistant and the newest addition the the Jessica Hill Photography team!
Thank you so much Jillian and Nick for choosing us to be the
photographer for your elegant and relaxed Timberline wedding! Please leave a blog comment to let us know your thoughts! Your opinion matters!
