Some couples carry joy so naturally and Kate and Matt are one of those couples!

We met in the Columbia River Gorge, with the wind moving and the light turning everything gold. They were playful and fully themselves from the start—so much laughing and fun!

I’ve known Kate through the industry for over ten years, and when she reached out about their Portland wedding and Hood River engagement session, I was so honored she trusted me with this season of their lives! She is one of those people that instantly feel like a bestie from the moment you meet her!

What struck me most wasn’t just how happy they are—but how at ease they are with each other. The way Matt looks at her. The way she leans into him. The way they laugh easily, like best friends who found something even deeper!
