Elizabeth and Tim are one of those couples that you meet and think…”I want to be their friend.” They have a natural ease and joy to them that’s magnetic. Lucky for me, I am able to call them friends and I’ve known Elizabeth now for over 6 years. She’s not only a delightful human, but she’s also one of my favorite wedding planners at Bridal Bliss Events. We’re coming full circle, as she helped plan and coordinate my own wedding, and now I have the great honor of documenting hers this coming March. This is one of the many reasons I love the Portland wedding community! Elizabeth and Tim and I all met up this winter for their engagement lifestyle session at the Portland East Bank Esplanade waterfront park and then afterwards for a cheers at Coopers Hall Urban Winery. Love the fun candid moments mixed with artistic intimacy here and I’m so excited to be documenting their first steps together as husband and wife on the exciting adventure of marriage.

Lucy and Tim
A Multnomah Village and Waterfront Engagement
Lucy and Tim have a beautiful energy together. Their fun and exuberant love is contagious! Their cute pup tagged along for our first location around their neighborhood in Multnomah Village and finished the shoot around the waterfront and on the Broadway Bridge around dusk with some incredible light. I’m so excited to be documenting their first steps together as husband and wife in September!
Leslie and Mark
North Portland Engagements
Leslie and Mark and I met up recently around the Mississippi area, which is their neighborhood and mine, so it worked out great! Leslie and Mark are kind, sweet and comfortable to just chill and talk with. We had coffee, went to Por Que No, (which is where they had their first date!) and took their dog to a secret beach to play. I love having real life engagement shoots that replicate what you, as a couple, do in your spare time! The results are fun, true and honest and also document a great time in your life by showing who and where you are as a couple. Leslie and Mark are planning to say I DO this upcoming August at the very hip Castaway space in NW Portland. I can’t wait to photograph their fun day!
Dahna and Neil
A St. Johns Bridge Engagement
Dahna, Neil and I, and their awesome pup Penelope, met up at Cathedral Park; beneath the St. John’s bridge recently. We had a blast finding sun soaked trees and a cool random and huge pile of vinyl just sitting on a picnic table. The talented Kirstie Wight did Dahna’s pretty makeup. This loving and kind couple are down to earth, really fun and absolutely adorably in love. I can’t wait for their wedding this August at Bridal Veil Lakes!
Cara and Steven
A Cathedral Park and Waterfront Engagement
Cara and Steven share laughs, love and kindness and live in the darling St. John’s neighborhood. We started our engagement session at Cathedral Park, at the base of the St. John’s bridge and ended up at the waterfront with the stunning cherry blossoms. We had a blast in some of Portland’s not to be missed spots, and I can’t wait for their wedding next month at Hotel Deluxe!
Brianne and John
A Pearl District Engagement
Brianne and John are a fun and gorgeous couple full of love, energy and good times! We met up recently for a perfectly Pearl district engagement shoot around a few local landmarks in the Pearl. The bridges, the waterfront, Tanner Springs Park and Via Delizia in the Pearl for some yummy hot coco’s. Love it and can’t wait to photograph their July wine country wedding!

Michelle and Garrett
Oregon Wedding Photography
Michelle and Garrett and I recently met up for a cherry blossom filled day at the SW Waterfront. The rain nearly got us, but our timing was perfect for the shoot! I am in love with the fist image of M&G, which shows the stunning trees, along with the super sweet couple kissing underneath. I’m looking forward to their wedding this May in Oregon City and downtown Portland. Thanks M&G and hope you love the preview! More soon!
