Britt and David are a lovely couple, full of joy, creativity, and wonder. Their wedding at Lac de’Fleur Garden was whimsical and breathtaking!
Britt hand-dyed her shoes, and David wore a dapper, tailored suit from the talented folks at Duchess Clothier. The couple created stunning boutonnieres as well as her bouquet and shoe embellishment with peacock feathers and flowers from a local dahlia farm!
Lac de’Fleur Gardens is a wonderful venue, full of gorgeous flowers, peacocks, greenhouses… it’s right out of some classic 19th century novel!

Kids were not left out of the festivities! Britt & David are very close with their families, and the reception had croquet and putt-putt for the younger folk to play.
Lac de’Fleur has lots of gorgeous animals running around, including beautiful peacocks, a tortoise named Matilda, and their dog Tycho acted as ring-bearer!
Britt & David’s wedding was breathtaking, featuring beautiful colors, a striking sense of wonderment, and family & friends. The lovely color palette of purples, oranges, blues and yellows was reminiscent of a sunset and looked amazing at the turn of Autumn. The entire day was filled with inspiring scenes, love and laughs. Jenni and Kyley’s wedding was 100% awesome. From the incredible energy of the couple, to the lovely little details, their August 28th wedding was picture perfect. Liam and I had a blast with everyone while we photographed their first glance in the Pearl with it’s industrial and urban landscape. We are really excited to announce our first ever portrait session day in the park! On October 23rd, 2010, Jessica Hill Photography will be at Laurelhurst park in SE Portland. We have select 30 minute time slots available at a discounted price (normally $250!) for your children and family. We will have a few fun things for the kids, including pumpkins to pose next to and leaves for a great autumn themed session. You will be asked back to the studio in 2-3 weeks to review your 50 images from the session for a one-on-one viewing to pick the perfect prints for your home.

I was excited when Bethany recently asked me about setting up a time for a First Thursday Event. With, chic wedding accessories, hip decor and talented and fun staff, I knew it would be a great time! Callie and Sean make a great team. With a passion for life, love, the city and nature, this incredible couple said their I Do’s in late August. The juxtaposition between the urban landscape and the natural elements made for some great pics and I absolutely love photographing the Historic Union Station, which is also where my studio and office is located! Mei Mei and Lou’s magical and beautiful wedding beneath the stars was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. M+L are so fun, relaxed and in love and they truly infect people with their radiant love and energy. Hawaii is a sacred land that m+l truly respected during their wedding planning. Guests were invited to sleep in outfitted tents and live with little electricity and have an adventure of a weekend, during one of the largest meteor showers this century. Travis and I loved living off of the land and photographing m+l’s surreal wedding with 100% photojournalism. I loved documenting this wedding, this couple and this entire experience. thank you so much for everything and hope you love the preview pics.

I love babies. Matt and Sarah and baby Gavin are the cutest family ever! We met up at the studio and walked around the Pearl together and had tons of fun with baby Gavin.
