I recently met up with Annika and Wes for their late summer engagement session in Bend, Oregon. When they arrived in bolo ties and Stetson hats, I knew this would be a fun shoot!
They decided on Shevlin Park, as this is a special place for the couple because Wes proposed here to Annika. I always love documenting Bend’s stunning landscapes and loved the tall grasses, wood fences, and aspen trees surrounding this area. The rustic scenery was the perfect setting. Dressed to impress, the duo went full-on Wild West for their engagement shoot, of which their wedding has the same theme!
Love that they brought along their adorable pup, Daisy for the photos as she wanted time to shine in a Stetson! And boy, did she ever! Can all dogs have custom cowboy hats forever? hahah. Annika and Wes’s Western-style engagement photos in Bend, Oregon remind us that love is as unique and untamed as a wild stallion.
