Erica and Mike are a splendid couple that I had the
honor of photographing last month. Their unique afternoon wedding took
place on
June 13th at the incredible Portland White House. I love photographing
the White House, which is a historic Bed and Breakfast located in NE
Portland and filled with vintage antiques and furniture. Erica and
Mike’s intimate affair was vintage-inspired and filled with unique and
fun details. Erica created her own feather hair piece as well as the
fun pink bridesmaid’s hair clips. The feathers were also Incorporated into the boutonnieres, made by the talented folks at Broadway Florist. The colors were hot pink and soft
blue, with vintage birdcages as centerpieces and a cake topper from the
1930’s that Erica’s dad painted to match the couple! (so cool and
adorable) The ceremony and reception were filled with happiness and love
and I am SO happy to have been in attendance. Hope you love the sneak
peek Erica and Mike and Congrats! Your comments are appreciated if you
have the time 🙂

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful and fun wedding, as well as another photographer’s sermon.. The Reverend Craig Mitchelldyer. When Craig asked if I would shoot his little sister’s wedding, I jumped at the chance! I’m a huge fan of Craig’s photo work, and epic lighting skill and I loved meeting his family as well! His darling daughter Jordyn was the flower girl and Grandpa walked Ali down the aisle! Ali and Johnny are a super sweet couple and hosted a beautiful wedding at a stunning location! The ceremony and reception took place on the top deck of The Spirit of PortlandNicole Wagner did an awesome job on Ali’s make-up as well! Thanks so much for the opportunity Craig and Ali and Johnny! It was a lot of fun 🙂

Brandy and Dave are an incredible and artistic couple that I had the extreme honor of photographing recently. They tied the knot with their immedate families in attendance, on May 16th at Tanner Springs Park with a cocktail reception at the up-scale urban Bay 13 Restaurant, both in the Pearl District. Their wedding was elegantly hip, intimate and locally focused. The sugar-skull inspired cake was crafted by Bakery Bar. (It was really yummy:) The flowers were brilliant and included plenty of succulents and and created by the talented crew at Old Town Florist. Brandy’s lovely ring set was crafted by the amazing and local Judith Arnell. Brandy’s awesome style by Salon 77. Thank you so much Brandy and Dave for choosing me to photograph your unique and relaxed wedding! I had SO much fun with you both:) Stay
tuned for the slideshow and check out Dave’s cool photo blog here! If you have a moment, your comments are much appreciated!

Luke and Sarah’s wedding was snowy, surreal and beautiful! The wedding took place at The Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum Washington on a crisp and bright Saturday. Sarah and Luke decided to keep it small inviting 11 immediate family members, which made the event all the more cozy and special. Sarah looked amazing in her Carolina Herrera gown and Coach galoshes, which were perfect for the outdoor ceremony in the snow! Luke was charming in his Brooks Brothers suit and Hermes tie. Lily sparkled though out the day with her endless smiles and goofy grins:) The wedding ceremony quoted Robert Frost and they were announced to Johnny Cash…Very unique! If you’re looking for a venue that truly celebrates nature, I can’t recommend this location enough! The setting was almost as breathtaking as the couple and their families. Thank you so much Sarah and Luke for inviting Erica and I to be a part of your incredible day!
