Bridal Veil Lakes Wedding

Camilla and Paul said their “I Do’s” on the 4th of July and Travis and I had the pleasure of photographing their vintage-inspired elegant wedding! The day was beautiful and the wedding was really fun and filled with smiles and laughter. Camilla and Paul had an intimate wedding at the stunning, Bridal Veil Lakes. but first got ready and did a few fun pics at, the always fun, Edgefields, with the talented make-up artist, Jennifer Walker completing Camilla’s vintage look with soft and romantic shades.

Considering the history surrounding the 4th,
the couple chose to re-create their ceremony to read as though it were
in 1776. As soon as they were announced as husband and wife, they
exited in a yellow canoe, complete with a parasol. Thanks so much Camilla and Paul or choosing me to document your awe-inspiring wedding!

Engaged: Amber & Kody

Amber & Kody are getting married in August at the beautiful Shakespeare Gardens in the International Rose Garden, with a lunch wedding reception at the amazing Portland City Grill. We recently met in SE Portland at Laurelhurst Park with their awesome dogs! (Yes, that’s pretty much the cutest puppy you’ve ever seen!) I love photographing
at Laurelhurst because it’s a huge, inspiring nature park in he middle of the
bustling city. I am super excited and honored to photograph Amber and Kody’s wedding on August 3rd. Stay tuned for their wedding post

Engaged: Tiffany & Adam

Tiffany and Adam are an awesome and fun couple that I’m so happy to have met! Their wedding will take place on Sept. 26th at The Copper Creek Inn, near Mt. Rainer in Ashford Washington. They have the coolest doggies and It was really fun to get photos of them. Tiffany and Adam and I all met in Laurelhurst Park for a great afternoon of engagment and puppy pics. I love their energy and style and I can’t wait for their wedding (in which the dogs will be part of the wedding party!!!) Hope you love the sneak peek. Engaged: Michelle & Dave

Michelle and Dave are an awesome couple that I’m so honored to have met! We recently photographed their engagements at Cathedral Park in St. John’s. We snuck out on the bridge for some incredible views of Gothic towers. Engaged: Kristen and Jered

Kristen and Jered are an awesome couple, who like to have fun! We explored all over the waterfront and the Pearl and created some really cool backgrounds:) I love the one with the Grizzly Bear posters.. (great band too!) I’m so excited for their August 22nd wedding in Camp Sherman Oregon! We start in cabins and move to the Community Hall, which still holds potlucks, quilt shows and square dancing for the town! 🙂 Thanks so much Kristen and Jared, and hope you love the blog preview! Engaged: Ali and Jared!

Ali and Jared are tying on the knot at the beautiful Garden Vineyards on Aug. 7th, 2009 and I’m honored that I’m the chosen photographer! We had a great time in Laurelhurst Park, located in SE Portland. The light was magical and the flowers were in bloom 🙂 there happened to be chalk on the sidewalk, and we took care of the thank you cards well in advance. (check that off the list!) I also was working with the newest addition to the Jessica Hill Photography team, Leah Verwey! She’s a very talented photographer and a very sweet person! We’re happy to have her on board and looking forward to taking the 09 Summer by storm! Jared and Ali, you’re great fun and I hope you love the post! Looking forward to designing your Guest Book!

Paul and Camilla are an awesome couple that I recently had the pleasure of photographing! The evening was perfect and we had a ton of fun hanging out and creating as many unique backgrounds as possible with the urban setting.
