When I first met with Mallory and Erik I knew their wedding would be incredible and every photographers dream! For their first look they decided to meet and see each other at the Vista House at Crown Point overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. The views are stunning and so were the couple. Mallory looked amazing in her Marisa dress from Ania and Erik was very sharp in his custom made Duchess suit. The couple wanted to infuse a little of the quintessential Portland, so we stopped by Mary’s club for a funny pic and VooDoo doughnuts were the couple’s wedding cake. Awesome bouquets and centerpieces by Jordan at Blum and the ceremony and dinner reception were held at the elegant Pazzo’s Restaurant. Thank you so much for choosing me M&E! Elijah and I had a blast documenting your day!

Woodsy, whimsical and oh so lovely, Annie and Evan’s wedding was a dream in the forest at Oxbow Park. With the talented help from the Rachelle and her crew at Champagne Events, the details, ceremony and reception were a wonderful compliment to a perfect love. The darling woodsy details were all DIY with love, including the vintage kerchief flags, watercolored table names of loved pets and the lovely flower arrangements. Phresh Organics created a yummy southern-inspired menu and the bridesmaids darling dresses are from BHLDN, the new Anthropologie bridal line. Thank you so much Annie and Evan for choosing me to document your surreal and fun day!

Jumping for joy over this collaboration! Holly and I had chatting briefly about an urban rustic concept idea, but I had no idea it would be this amazing! As soon as she told me it would be at Irving Street Kitchen, I knew I would be in for a treat! All the talented artistic wedding vendors made this one very cool, from the caramel apple treats to the stunning jeweled headdress, and the unique paper flowers and every detail there! I loved this fun day, as it was fashion focused and a little edgy. Also check out this concept shoot feature on the well known national blog, Elizabeth Ann Designs!

Alice and Scott’s stunning wedding day was a vibrant, modern and set in the most beautiful natural venue at Bridal Veil Lakes. We started at The Nines, a boutique hotel in downtown Portland and photographed the wedding party and Alice and Scott downtown. I love that they included both urban and natural pics into their wedding schedule! Bridal Veil Lakes is seriously amazing, it’s set on a mountain in the Columbia River Gorge, complete with canoes! The incredible Heather with Sorella Events, along with her great team coordinated and styled the day and Buddies created the lovely blooms. Food and Bloom catered the event, and their food was delicious! Alice and Scott’s energy, their love and their laughter were contagious and oh-so-inspiring. Thank you Alice and Scott for choosing me! Thanks for second shooting Elijah 🙂

Ann and Alex’s wedding weekend was breathtaking, with the Atlantic at their backs and the sun beaming their light within, I was continually honored and amazed with every second. Ann and I met in printmaking class at University of Michigan in 2002 and I have had the pleasure of knowing her and her lovely family through the years. She’s a talented artist and designer, and is actually the mastermind behind my jh logo. I was beyond happy for her to marry her wonderful soul mate, Alex, in magical wedding ceremony and toast at Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary in Barnstable and to the reception for a clam bake dinner, dancing and lantern release in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. thank you, thank you, thank you. words can’t describe how happy i am for you both! big love xoxo
